The Claremont 5 Second Film Festival is sponsored by the Claremont Community College and is screened at the prestigious Laemmle Theatre in Claremont California. Although not a real college, the Claremont Community College provides social and artistic events. The city boasts a college crowd and the feel of an artistic destination. The Claremont Village, as it is known to locals, supports a variety of eclectic dining establishments where you can meet up with your cast and crew prior to the event. Post screening events will allow you meet the audience up close.
Claremont is located an hour east of Los Angeles and is covered by the Southern California media market. It is an outstanding location to invite your fans and friends.
The event solicits short film comedies, short film dramas, student films and of course the 5 second film. (5 second films may be submitted with 30 seconds of titles and 30 seconds of credits.) Shorts may be up to 15 minutes.
